October 7, Fineko/abc.az. According to the latest Statcounter report, ChatGPT was the leader among chatbots with artificial intelligence on all platforms in Azerbaijan in September, with market share of 86.3%.

Compared with August, ChatGPT increased its share by 2.69 percentage points, but in annual terms, compared to September 2025, it decreased by 8.78 p.p., or 9.2%.

In general terms, Google Gemini took the 2nd place with share of 10.28%. Company's market share declined by 1.17 p.p. over the month, but grew by 9.27 p.p. year-on-year. This is followed by Perplexity, which increased its market share by 0.87 p.p. in a month and by 0.72 p.p. in a year - to 2.34%. Claude, who took 4th place, received a share of 0.83% (2.16 p.p. less in a month and 0.55 p.p. more in a year). Microsoft Copilot closes Top 5 with market share of 0.24%; its indicator dropped by 1.77 p.p. over the month and by 0.24 p.p. over the year.

As for the distribution by platform, ChatGPT had a share of 85.55% among computer users (3 p.p. more per month and 8.97 p.p. less per year), Google Gemini - 10.6% (1.47 p.p. less per month and 9.65 p.p. more per year), Perplexity - 2.61% (1.12 p.p. more in a month and 0.65 p.p. more in a year), Claude - 0.96% (2.39 p.p. less in a month and 0.62 p.p. more in a year), and Microsoft Copilot - 0.28% (0.25 p.p. less in a month and 1.95 p.p. less in a year).

On mobile devices, ChatGPT retained its lead with 90.96%, but lost 1.45 p.p. over the month and 7.07 p.p. over the year. On this platform, Google Gemini took the 2nd place with indicator of 8.43% (2.18 p.p. more for the month and 7.11 p.p. more for the year), Perplexity took the 3rd place with share of 0.6% (0.74 p.p. less for the month and 0.17 p.p. more for the year). On tablets, ChatGPT was the leader with an absolute market share of 100%, which means a rise of 50 p.p. in both monthly and annual terms.
