October 8, Fineko/abc.az. The report emphasizes that Azerbaijan’s State Budget 2026 indicates further steps to strengthen fiscal sustainability in the country.

Reducing dependence on transfers from the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and diversifying the revenue base are among the main priorities of the government.

According to Fitch Solutions calculations, in 2026 the share of State Budget non-oil revenues will reach 57.4%, which means the formation of more sustainable sources of financing.

At that, analysts consider government's conservative approach to budget calculations regarding oil prices to be a reliable protective buffer against volatility in foreign markets.
