October 9, Fineko/abc.az. As of October 1, 2026, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 7.5%, or by 63,200 people, up to 900,967.

According to the State Tax Service, the number of active VAT-payers grew by 9.7% up to 62,414 and the number of active business entities by 8.2% up to 247,206.

These indicators show that activity of business entities and the process of legalization in the country is on the upward trend.
