October 5, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, investments in fixed assets directed for the manufacturing industry of Azerbaijan amounted to 662.8 million manats.

This figure in 2024 was at the level of 1.409 billion manats, which in actual prices means a drop in capital investments by about 53%.

One of the sharpest declines was recorded in the production of petroleum products; finances invested in this area decreased from 958 million manats to 167.6 million manats.

In annual comparison, 61.2 million manats were invested in food production and 84.3 million manats in the production of building materials.

Despite this, there was a growth trend in some sectors. Investments in pharmaceutical production grew from 2.7 million manats up to 21 million manats and investments in the production of finished metal products from 34.2 million manats up to 45.2 million manats.
