Saudi Arabia and UAE to Support Expansion of Asia’s Oil Reserves

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are set to assist import-dependent Asian nations in bolstering their strategic petroleum reserves.

According to Nikkei, senior officials from Saudi Arabia and the UAE will participate in special consultations at the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC) ministerial meeting in the Philippines. The Gulf producers are expected to announce joint initiatives to help build commercial and strategic oil stockpiles across Asia to enhance regional energy security.
