September 23, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Aug 2026, the State Budget of Azerbaijan received 114.7 million manats from the privatization of state property (18.7%  more against Jan-Aug 2025), informs the State Service for Property Issues (under the Ministry of Economy).

The Service conducted 40 auctions for the past 8 months. A block of shares in 3 joint-stock companies, 2 small state-owned enterprises, 1 unfinished construction facility and 690 vehicles were privatized at auctions.

In addition, the Service concluded 2,953 new lease agreements, including 363 ones for non-residential facilities and 2,590 ones for land plots. The figure is 6.4% less than a year earlier. As a result, the State Budget received 24.75% more in annual terms from the lease of state property (non-residential facilities and land plots) - 37.8 million manats.

Thus, for Jan-Aug 2026, the State Budget received 152.5 million manats from privatization and lease in general (20.2% more versus Jan-Aug 2025).
