September 22, Fineko/abc.az. Starting from September 23, the ‘Khojasan’ and ‘Bus Terminal’ metro stations in Baku will become temporarily free to enter.
The decision was made in connection with the metro line separation project in order to optimize traffic flows and offer passengers alternative routes.
This measure will allow residents of Sumgayit, Khirdalan, villages along the Baku-Shemakha highway, as well as Absheron and Garadagh districts to reach the city bypassing the busy territories of ‘Shemakhinka’ and ‘January 20’.
‘Khojasan’ and ‘Bus Terminal’ stations will allow passengers to travel free of charge to metro stations ‘November 8’, ‘Darnagul’, ‘Azadlig Avenue’, ‘Nasimi’, ‘Memar Ajemi’, ‘January 20’, ‘Inshaatchylar’, ‘Elmlyar Akademiyasi’ and ‘Nizami’.
Changes in ground transportation: A number of bus routes will be redirected directly to metro stations ‘Khojasan’ and ‘Bus Terminal’.
The innovation will help redistribute passenger traffic during the repair work, relieve congestion at the entrances to the capital, and save time and money for citizens.
